Gordon Shepherd would have to be a saint not to be offended by some of the postings on this site.I gather he stopped visiting it some time ago to maintain his peace of mind.He now finds he is getting targetted by personal e-mails. Offensive -Yes Ill-informed- Certainly Personal-Naturally Anonymous-Of course. His public relations have been pretty bad and he would be well advised to keep his mouth shut until he has something positive to say- but why does he never get the benefit of the doubt.Any statement he makes is jumped upon-Analysed- and thrown back in his face.He gets compared to a Tesco manager for his PR failings. He isn't a smooth operator.Bit of a rough diamond I'd say not cut out for the limelight. Peter Risdale was a Public Relations man to his fingertips and would not make the mistakes GS has made.But that is another story. Lets get off the chairman's back and get behind the club. I have never met Gordon Shepherd.This is a post for Barnsley FC.
good call, but every person in positions of power will get and should expect grief. No doubt he doesn't care and good on him for not doing so, but hope its not clouded his vision when comes to the majority of barnsley fans
