These prices just about slam the door in the face of any casual support Have they consulted ken bates ffs Barnsley FC pricing strategy is completely the opposite to Bradford city a football club have gone from.averaging half of our attendances to double.
The total price for the first five games is £131, which is an average of £26.20 per game. 5 games cost £125, i.e. £25 per game last season. Viewed thus, overall there is not much of a price rise at all.
Not bad those prices, there's enough ways to purchase advance tickets so those should be the prices folk pay. I'll pick and choose games but don't mind paying £30 to see us play Villa.
if we want to challange with other clubs in the championship we will have to have the same ticket prices so we dont break rules because we are barnsley and if we broke a rule we would get fined newcastle or villa could break every rule in the book and leave with a slap on the wrist
Does the price of a ticket or the attendance actually enable you to challenge? I think not - you just need a good team and spirit Newcastle - 4th best supported team in the Premier League with gates of 50,000 - relegated Villa - 11th best supported team in Premier League - relegated Leeds - highest prices in the Championship when Bates was in charge - relegated to 3rd division Bournemouth - averaged about 1,000 more than us - stayed in Premier League Burton - non-league attendances - promoted to Championship
Averaging the prices out is irrelevant. If you can get to all 5 games, you'd probably be a season ticket holder.
