I would expect a few of our games to get Sky coverage. Leeds because it's Leeds, Yorkshire derby and has implications at both ends of the table. Brentford hopefully too with it being the last ever league game there.
So we only get the iFollow home games free. That's a pity. Is the 4 match flexi-ticket offer on top of that?
So I can only watch the home games? Seems a bit poor. May well be beyond the clubs control but I was hopeful the away games would be thrown in to make up for the fact I can't actually go.
I was hoping for that too. My son and I are owed 2 x £68 = £136. I'd happily take £90 worth of home and away games on iFollow and write the rest off. But if the flexi-ticket is also on offer, then I guess that's ok too. If we use them for cup games @ £10 a time, that's say, £80 cup games plus £40 worth of iFollow, so £120. Close enough for me. Just need clarification on the flexi-ticket.
It is poor because now people are more likely to ask for a refund from their club. So when the season pass works out at around £15 a game I could ask for a refund, use that money to pay for away games on iFollow and still have change.
Because cup money is always split between the clubs and the away team can't have 50% of a BFC flexi-ticket as payment.
So no benefit to me at all. As a ST holder, I'll already be at the league games. A refund is starting to look appealing. That's the frame of mind I started out with, way back when, but I'd gradually reconciled to having all of the 9 remaining games via iFollow. I'm moving back to my starting position now.
Poor that the iFollow for Season ticket holders seems to have been downgraded. I’m not sure what I will do yet but disappointed in the either poor communication or backtracking on iFollow
It's a tricky one. My heart says: take the offer, let the club keep the money. My head says: if it was a business decision, what would Paul Conway do?
