Couldn anyone answer me a daft question? Can I enter the ground through the East Stand Upper turnstiles with my East Stand Lower ticket? I’m guessing not so I’ve never tried it but they do both tip out into the same place. It’s always struck me as strange that those who choose to sit it the East Stand Lower likely have less mobility than those who sit in the Upper but they have further to walk. (I know it’s not far).

I may try it next time when it’s peeing it down then. I know they both open up into the same place but I didn’t know if they scanner would differentiate between the two.

Ages ago one of the SLOs posted in here saying that you could use any but the article on the official site is quite clear (and alsway is) that ONLY upper tier ticket holders can use the upper tier turnstiles and vice versa so its as clear as mud really

I’d try it and see, worse that can happen is it doesn’t work and you’ll have to walk round, which you’d have to do anyway if you didn’t.

I tend to walk in the back way from ponty road but if I’ve been to the the box office or the clubshop I use those turnstiles. We sit in the east upper - but the family stand at the far end from there. If we can get in I don’t see why you wouldn’t. I’m not sure the scanners are that clever - I don’t even know if they’d stop you using that entrance if you had a ticket for a different stand altogether
