    In 1908 some Cardiff City supporters went to a Cardiff theatre to see a play entitled The Bluebird. -- a tale of wodchoppers children being led on a magical trip to locat the Bluebird of Happiness.

    At the match the following Saturday the Cardiff City supporters sang the main song from the play and the Club became known asThe Bluebirds.

    Not many people know that!
