‘If there’s a fan telling us we aren’t trying, then they aren’t watching the game right, because we get the running stats every single game and they’re exactly the same as they were last season’ I’ve always said there is absolutely no evidence of anybody not trying this season.

The cynic in me wonders whether to take some of these snippets at face value. For example he says "we have to back that completely" and not "we back that completely" and "you can only do what the manager wants" can be seen as a dig at the coach, and asking not to get at the players.

I don't think the players are on Schopp's side, but that's based on what we see on the pitch and a couple of post match interviews. These comments don't help, but realise i'm probably overthinking it.

Does this include the running to celebrate goals?

Weird that our captain has taken an interest in Mark Robins holiday plans.

Add that to my pile of grievances against the club. Schopps fault for not keeping him on task, really pissing me off now. Schopp out.

Millwall, Blackpool and Forest were struggling too. We got the square root of f ck all. The proof of the pudding will be in the eating.

I expect what ever Cauley says will give his critics some kind of ammunition to have another go at him, but the lad gives his all & does not hide when things are rough , he has had little or no support since Morris got injured & get only scraps to feed off ,, my personal thought is that he should be the first name on the sheet & hopefully he will spearhead us towards recovery but Schopp needs to get a balance to the team & and tactics that aim to get the best out of our strike force .

I don't think its because Morris is injured thats he has had scraps to feed off, no midfield, playing defenders as forwards, wing backs been poor. Cauley has looked his best when in a front 2 with a big striker at the side of him not in a front 3. I hope he starts scoring I really do but at the minute the 1st name on the team sheet is Collins then helik.
Its good to hear his positive sounds but we need to walk the walk. And if we don't this Saturday surely schopp must walk.
