Club Statement: Play-Off Ticket Allocations. - More from the official site... 11-05-2016 04:23 PM
i don't understand why there would be any complaints. their ground is half the capacity of ours, they will sell out their home allocation, we won't. course we're going to get less tickets.
Complaints to the police. How would they have been able to obtain home tickets if you have to have booking history. Incompetent SYP again. They average 5k at home, only took 3k to Port Vale, they'll not sell much of that further 2,000.
Unfortunately I'm not in England at minute I missed wigan. Missing the game Saturday which also gutted about (I will watch on sky but not the same) really hoping we get a bigger allocation for walsall if the tie is still in balance or our favor the walsall home end will look very tempting as I can't see them selling out.
exactly! Our ground is double the size of there's and we usually fill 40% of it. Give them as many tickets as they want in the North stand and get a good atmosphere in oakwell! We wont sell all the remaining 18k tickets anyway, I don't know why everyone is getting so worked up!
People just want a bigger away allocation I think we not bothered hoe many they bring here more money for us. We took 1000 in the league fixture so 1450 will go in a flash and many will miss out.
Wanna bet? One fella there today, swearing blind it was still early bird season and another saying he'd been told on the phone he could get away tickets today. It was relatively quiet, but these 2 chancers kept to staff occupied for over 20 minutes each.
Exactly, the away stand holds 2000 but they give 1450 "due to Health & Safety"? We give them 4,000 due to SYP coming out with a load of b*ll*cks.
No mate it wasn't categorised that day we went on spur of moment. But I thought their away end held 2k so 1450 seems abit crap. Wigan took about 2500 there they gave them half the home end in the league fixture.
We should only give the same percentage as we receive, play hard ball and force their hand to give us the minimum 2000 or they don't get any more either.
what hardball? it's minimum 10% or 2000 isn't it, whichever is the smallest? they've actually given us 13%, which is around 300 tickets more than they needed to. not sure we've got a leg to stand on, have we? if it was our ground, would we deprive home fans of tickets, to give the away fans more?
Fecking simple in it? Possibility of Walsall fans trying to buy for the home end if we restrict tickets?!? Mighty Walsall, travelling support who can all come on a couple of skateboards.
Perhaps we initially wanted to keep the level of Walsal support down at Oakwell to prevent them creating the atmosphere a full end does, which is what they have probably decided to do to us at there place! A couple of thousand extar at Oakwell is nothing in money terms compared to the riches of Wembley and hopefully the Championship!
Bingo! Someone's got it. We need to give as little support to the opposition as possible. Look at what out 4770 did for our team at Wigan.
