    Dan Crowley Returns to Arsenal

    Barnsley Football Club can today confirm that midfielder Dan Crowley has returned to Arsenal from his youth loan spell here at Oakwell.

    Crowley made 13 appearances for The Reds after joining at the start of the 2015/16 season. The 18-year-old scored his first goal in professional football against Premier League Everton in our Capital One Cup 2nd round thriller back in August.

    Reds Head Coach Lee Johnson said, “I think Dan’s had a fantastic time here. We’ve really enjoyed working with him. He’s the most talented 18-year-old I’ve ever seen.

    “For me, I’m really appreciative to Arsenal. I have nothing but positive words for him as a lad and as a player.”

    The Club would like to thank Dan for his services and wish him well in his future career.
