So if you are busy and/or don't work near Oakwell you get the scraps left in the evening in rubbish areas.

ALL tickets should be available on the night on a first come first served basis.

Very unfortunate. Feel sorry for the club on this one and all the displaced supporters. Going to be a shame for those who had
planned on purchasing on the day too. Hopefully a packed ponty end and west stand can roar the lads on to three points.

Something else for SOME to slate the club,do fans think the club want this ? There would be hell to pay if someone got injured in a unfit stand.

Could be interesting to see how it affects the atmosphere with our fans in both ends. With 5k ish fans to re-house the other areas of the ground are going to be pretty full.

    It's about 4,000 I think.

Most challenging aspect is that if this was FFG, Accrington, or Fleetwood, then a full move to the North Stand would have been possible for one game.

Pompey, being the crazy fans that they are, are fetching around 1,200 tomorrow night!

The irony acuars is that if the club took a gamble (not that they would) and opened the stand and that bit of loose cladding fell on someone, I guarantee you would be the first to react to the club apology and give them dog's abuse for it. You really need to question why you react negatively to 99% of club statements, who you are aiming it at, and why in light of recent events, with one of their teammates lying in a hospital bed. Have a word with yourself.

Christ imagine the queues if they just let it be a free for all on the night two hour before kick off?

What’s the point having the best seats available if you’re only going to get there at half time?

Honest opinion required: I’m working tomorrow, live in donny, and have absolutely no chance of being anywhere near Oakwell before 6:30pm, probably nearer 7pm. Is it worth even bothering?

Honestly couldn't tell you. Assume at least 50% can sort their tickets out well before the game. Another 25% take the refund option with it being midweek and absolutely Baltic.

That means they have 1,000 to find a home for between 6:30pm and kick off. All hands to the pump so might not be too bad? Don't want to promise you that though.

So we're not allowed to sell tickets in the lower tier of the East Stand when there's a large away following, but all of a sudden when push comes to shove we can split the North Stand between home and away fans. Hmmm.

The other irony is that usually sections of north and east stand are left empty to segregate fans, like last week against Derby. Now it's ok to share a stand with a set of feisty fans with presumably a bit of net and some stewards forming the barrier. This isn't a criticism of the club btw, don't see that they have a choice. It's the ground safety group who set daft rules the rest of the time.

Would imagine, but don't know for sure, that this decision is a lot easier when your stewards and police don't have the East Stand to consider at the same time.

How long into the match will they have reissued tickets and got us to our seats?

It’s a weekday. People are working. They can say they are open from 10am all they like, that isn’t going to do a lot of the fan base too much good.

And there will also be plenty of folk who COULD go earlier to sort it that won’t, meaning by the time the folk who turn up who couldn’t get there any earlier, they will be queueing everywhere.

I’ve read the post and I’m still not certain - if I come, it’ll be after 6:30. Do I need to go to the box office or straight to a turnstile to get tickets?

Are they opening both sides of the West Stand?

They can't. No facilities on the right side I was told last month.
