    Makes sense. Clubs not testing as much as they used to probably played a role in the rise in cases.

    We've tested every week for the last 6 months, having initially tested twice weekly during the initial return to play. But yes, a lot of clubs (certainly in L1 and L2) weren't testing as regularly because it's very expensive (£100 per individual). All without any government support.

    Finally, the EFL with the help of the PFA have funded it.

    To a club like Chelsea, £100 is nowt. But even to us it's substantial, for lower league clubs it's a massive burden.
