NOTE: The number of page impressions the club get on the official site also improves the ammount of money going into the club coffers. We all know we need every penny we get our hands on so if you'd got out of the habit of visiting the club site then could I suggest you visit it more frequently?
The club are aware of the short comings of the site and plans are in place to rectify these.

If our club wants to be open with its fans then lets put paid to this undisclosed fee on transfers.

    Show us the money.

Yeah it's disapointing our club isn't more open with it's fanbase.

It's not just us, it's a lot of clubs. Interesting article in When Saturday Comes about the reasons for it as well. I'll dig it out and post up the reasons.

I would presume the non-disclosure of the fee would be to protect both the buying and selling club. The buying club won't want other clubs knowing their spending power in case they go in for other players. In the same way, the selling club will presumably be the in the market for replacements and won't want other clubs knowing about pots of money that have just come into the coffers.

oh ffs forumites....this undisclosed fee rubbish is just a licence for financial jiggery pokery. In other words tax twisting etc etc etc. Get real....these business men didn't get rich following the rules did they. It's a complete farce...everything should be open and above board but lets face it...it never will be.

They will make Harry Redknapp the Premier League Treasurer before that happens.

    Hope this helps

I can't for a minute believe these things aren't open secrets anyway, surely Haynes will tell someone, who'll tell someone, etc. Or his agent has to publish his accounts with the info in, or its recorded in the club accounts. Just strikes me as pointless not to just come out and say how much it was, to do otherwise invites speculation that the club hasn't got a good deal.
