    It's amazing what time does to the perception of someone. It is a great healer. I was on the train home from work yesterday and read his parting shot. After what has happened since. I found myself agreeing with what he put and his reasons for leaving. Matter of fact, straight to the point bloke. A little too candid towards the end. Maybe should have left in summer 2017 if he felt that way.

    I just wish he'd not changed tactics after Winnall, Hourihane, Scowen, Watkins and Bree had departed. The replacements were nowhere near as good but the in your face system and attacking football worked.

    Maybe he should have shown a little faith in his players.
