Keith Hill has reiterated his desire to build a successful football club here at Oakwell

Read More from the official site...

NOTE: The number of page impressions the club get on the official site also improves the ammount of money going into the club coffers. We all know we need every penny we get our hands on so if you'd got out of the habit of visiting the club site then could I suggest you visit it more frequently?
The club are aware of the short comings of the site and plans are in place to rectify these.

    Who is writing that website?

Does Keith Hill really need his mistakes highlighted with a (sic) after them? I know sic is used to indicate that what is written is exactly as it was said, but it's also used to highlight mistakes and ridicule and it looks like someone is taking the **** here.

I'd be well ****** off he was quoting me and he did that.

    It's outrageous

It's the kind of thing the poxy NME used to do on their letters page to make out the contributors were thick.

I want to kick his head in and he hasn't done it to me. Christ knows what Keith Hill thinks.

You just can't help getting wound up at Keith's interviews can yer?

PS - I can only assume they've just done a course and seen what it means. And took it f.cking literally.

Think the lad who worked in the box office does it now. Sharon's Son. Don't know his name though......

    Of course

Without the sics, someone on here would have picked up on the official site for poor checking, failing to spot the errors. But yes, I'd be cheesed off if someone did that to me.

The best bet would have been to make the minor corrections on his behalf. I'd imagine that was fairly standard practice when dictating what someone is saying.

Got to agree that the (sic)'s are a bit smarty pants. And the headline is very misleading without quoting the whole sentence.

"I'm not here to whirlwind romance the public" sounds like he is having a pop at the fans. The remainder of the sentence qualifies it as being something positive. All in all I would be a bit p155ed off at the way it has been written up.
