    McCarthy speaks very well and is becoming a good championship player. Best fullback at the club in my opinion, we have 50% of potentially a good back 4 with him and Liam Lindsay.

    Not sure I understand the love-in with McCarthy. Don't get me wrong, he's not the worst, gets stuck in and is okay going forward save his final ball/shot but he was beaten five times on the outside in the first half alone on Saturday, just like he was for Preston's goal at Deepdale. Hopefully he is aware of this and looking to do lots of work on it to improve.
