    If winning two and losing one in a pathetic display that ends with your side being booed off the pitch is enough to get you nominated for manager of the month then I fancy my chances of winning it next month.

    This does seem strange, winning 2 home matches and one being in January gets him nominated? December wasn't special as i recall. If it's for the paint pot cup then the Fleetwood manager should be nominated as well. very weird imo

    The two wins were Blackpool (H) and Colchester (A). We only played three league games in December. The other was the defeat to Wigan.

    Not sure how that one works. We've picked up because we've genuinely picked up - the last two home performances have been the most exciting games of the season at Oakwell. How does that show how terrible this league is? Did you expect us to pick up and still lose?

    Agree we have picked up, especially last two at home, but one of those was in january ... if there isn't a better candidate I'm reaching for the Colemans & gonna start eating my flat cap...

    Well done LJ, it was a good month aside from the Wigan defeat. Don't understand why we can't just give a little bit of praise to him after all the stick he has had received recently. May the good form continue.
