    NOTE: The number of page impressions the club get on the official site also improves the ammount of money going into the club coffers. We all know we need every penny we get our hands on so if you'd got out of the habit of visiting the club site then could I suggest you visit it more frequently?
    The club are aware of the short comings of the site and plans are in place to rectify these.

    I've seen us when we were magnificent

    When we drew 0-0 away to Liverpool, the European Champions, in 82 we were magnificent. When we beat Chelsea in 08 we were magnificent. There were a number of magnificent performances in 96-97 when we simply blew the opposition away. And in 97-98 when we fought like lions to get results against multi-millionaires. Just a few days ago we were getting on towards magnificent in the second half against Leeds.

    But a 2-0 defeat to the bottom of the league does not qualify as magnificent.

    Maybe we were knackered. Maybe we were just crap. We're allowed to be crap now and again. We're not all suddenly going to turn on all the players and the manager. We understand that we can't be great every week, particularly when the squad was put together on a pittance. We know it's a work in progress and we know we can't play like Man Utd every week. I'm still going to the Swansea match and I'll still be cheering them on even though I know for a fact we were crap against Donny. So will thousands of others.

    But when we're crap just admit it. For a manager that is constantly praised for telling it like it is he doesn't half talk some right old *****. Magnificent my arse.

    He's using the Louis Walsh definition of the word magnificent:
