    Tried to buy some tickets this afternoon and the ticketing system just wouldn’t respond. Gave up.

    Managed to do it when i got back home, but it does beg the question, how many sales are we losing due to inefficient systems.

    Sounds like a good reason to encourage people to turn up on the day and hand over their money….like we used to do! Just go to one of several turnstiles and pay the admission charge. This nonsense about all ticket games in the lower leagues makes no sense to me at all

    Surely it’s not all ticket tomorrow is it ?
    I can understand against derby who will sell out so need to prevent them sitting in home ends

    No I didn’t mean that it was all ticket tomorrow. It was just a comment on this modern mindset that we are forced into of needing a ticket in advance and there often being an announcement that no tickets will be available on match day. As the OP has said she’s found it difficult to get the online ticket system to work. I know that it DOES work but it’s just a shame that cash at the turnstiles isn’t encouraged any more. All those former fans and potential new ones won’t be able to take a late decision to go, maybe with friends or relatives, because they didn’t get a ticket in advance.
    I just think it’s a great pity that the club misses out on potential revenue because of this.

    I fancied going to Bolton on the morning I got up.
    Unfortunately I had to fancy it the day before ,so I could purchase a ticket.
    3rd division all ticket wtf.
