MARKUS SCHOPP POST-FOREST Interviews Speaking after our 3-1 defeat against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday evening, Markus Schopp believes that his side’s desire to kill the game off was a major factor in our second half collapse. Continue reading on the official site...
The players made individual mistakes. In the last games a couple of players need to learn. A couple of players need to adapt. ‘It’s about getting to the next level and they have to find better answers.’ They. They have to find it. Not one little bit of responsibility for the performances, everything put at the feet of the players. Get him out. Now. He’s going to alienate the lot of them.
We’re stuck with him and heading to league 1 aren’t we? Can anyone really see us win the amount of games we need to in the next month or so to make us look like anything other than relegation candidates?
To be honest, is he wrong? All three goals last night were down to individual errors. Caveat: I'm not absolving him of his part - he should own it too.
Very true. Last season if someone dropped a bollock, there was a teammate on hand to help him out it seemed.
It doesn’t ring true though, while the goals may have been individual mistakes the writing was on the wall, Forest carved us up before the interval.
The coach should take responsibility, we was getting over run in midfield and there was acres of space behind our defence for them
It’s your responsibility Schopp !! You saw us being overrun as we all did on a few occasions before their first goal , everyone in the ground could see what was coming long before it did yet you did nothing . You stood and watched until the inevitable happened then when you made changes nothing changed . The ball was in your court and you froze .
Should have made a change before they scored it was inevitable cooper was losing made a change they won. Clueless.
How he didn’t see their wingers attacking without any defence…. I’ll never know. He’s talking like we were amazing getting a lucky penalty. What about the fact we haven’t scored in open play in living memory?
They had a five minute spell in the first half where we seemed to lose all shape and concentration. But they were hardly carving us up at will. I only remember the diagonal shot from the edge of the box that went past the post unless I'm deliberately forgetting as much about last night as I can? They had a couple of other dangerous moves but we defended well and they never created anything (a bit like us at the other end!).
I think you’re being generous. Very. It would be a lot easier to say ‘we’ need to find answers. His choice of words appear to me to be very deliberate. And there doesn’t appear to be any issue with his English when you listen to him.
We were devoid of ideas and confidence from the kick off, we need strikers who can hold the ball and a midfield. No one wants to get hold of the ball and pass it to each other. They were tearing us apart on the break throughout long before they scored, if the manager can’t see that there’s no hope
Just sack the thoroughly dislikeable **** manager. He's got balls the size of marbles and a brain the size of a walnut. Too gutless to admit that yet again he ****** up. How has he not been sacked yet? Have our owners also got no balls to admit they made a mistake?
I don't think it's anything to do with English not being his first language and everything to do with him refusing to accept blame. Is it much harder to say I made mistakes than they? And no matter how poor your English is you know the difference between I and they
Couldn't agree more ....not ......well said Marcus blame everyone except yourself Now you've had your 5 minutes of fame.... It's time to fxxk off and spout your drizzle else where.....you are out of your depth and haven't got a clue in my opinion
