What a coincidence that Martin features in this post on the same day as my Cheltenham piece (with him on the front cover of a Robins programme).:)

Interestingly. Relying on players playing out of position to fill the central strikers role. Where have we heard that before. ? Playing out of position seems a common theme at this club.

It's worrying not because devaney is playing people out if position but because it means that we haven't even got any strikers coming through the academy.

Very concerning theme running through the club, serious failure in recruitment at all levels by the looks of it. It will probably be excused by some as the system we play is extremely 'fluid', therefore players don't have proper positions.

Not entirely sure if it was through necessity. Players injured for example.?

Sounds like lack of squad numbers/injuries (maybe). On the other hand it is youth squads so they might be able to coach one of them to be a striker?

Or adapting players so they can play numerous positions when switching formations like Bielsa does at Leeds.
