Strange one this really. Luton could be up there challenging for promotion with us this season. Hope we don't get bitten on the arse with this one.

Good luck Matty. Reckon he’ll be a quality right back in League 1. Behind Cavare and McCarthy here.

Hope we got the £500k back minimum.

I would’ve thought he’d have been a decent, solid squad player this season however, similarly to Knasmullner, if we’ve made a profit on him and have a sell on clause too, we can’t really complain.

    Good luck to the lad.

    He tried his proverbials off.

GG says the standard line... "We made a profit and retained an interest in his future"

I thought he tried a lot, but was lacking in ability..
    Good move for him.

Lets hope he's saying that on every transfer, making profits in players who aren't in our plans. Good business.

Their views, we're in a mess apparently according to one poster..

One of them also reckons he's nearly as good as Mawson....they should stick to "freeing Tommy"

Some of them think we're in a mess?

Yeah we're really struggling. Debt free, billionaire owners, some strong players for league one level already, solid season ticket sales, regeneration of the town going on alongside. What a mess.

Not going to weaken our team or indeed make his new team a threat ! One of a few that need to be shown the door . No time for sentiment , if we want to progress then we need more quality less quantity !

It was a bit surreal when I first looked at the BBS today. There were four consecutive threads about players...Suarez, Pique, Ronaldo...and Matty Pearson. Spot the odd one out!

My thoughts exactly but the majority of fans appear to think different . I would have had in front of Macarthy for the right back birth , think we might regret this one

Great to see so many leaving. Long may it continue, especially for a profit and future interest.

The lad was a trier - not the most gifted player but s solid & effective defender - wouldn’t have played week in & out so good luck to him

Never given a chance in his preferred holding midfield position. One we'll regret imho, at L1 at least. And if we are letting him go and relying on Hedges and Moncur coome start of the season, I'm already very very worried.
