NO SALES ON THE DAY AT DERBY COUNTY Fixture News The Reds take on the Rams in Sky Bet League One tomorrow. Continue reading on the official site...
Well that’s a bit shabby! I know people have had plenty of time to get tickets but it could have been a last minute decision in some cases. To say no tickets on day 2 hours before they go off sale is a bit crap from Derby.
Happens often if they think theres a possibility of home fans trying to mix in. Edit And it was announced no pay on day on the first advert. Weeks ago.
People have known for ten years+ that organising a match 5 months in advance means Jack Schidt in the Sky era.
Fans once upon a time used to get up on a morning, have a cup of tea and think do you know what I think I will go to Derby today to watch the reds. Driving fans away ,in a climate where the economy is on its knees , absolute joke .
Made more ridiculous by the fact there's around 700 seats going spare in the away end - think the max allocation is 3,200 and we're bringing 2,500. 700 Barnsley fans are not gonna turn up to pay on the day so no danger of turning people away, but it'll have put off a few from doing it no doubt - silly decision.
Playing devils advocate, a bit, here. But after what our club (or whoever was actually to blame) did to the Horsham fans, plus our own for that matter, I don’t think we can take the moral high ground for any other club blocking pay on the day. And I say this as one of those who would likely have got up this morning and made a spot decision to go to the game.
My observation was at football in general, not just Derby but BFC and all other football clubs. Chuffing madness turning custom away . Great incentive with the price of tickets. But the make it all ticket , chuffing unbelievable
