Hopefully, we'll get the opportunity to see young Rhys get a run out in the pre season friendlies with the first team.

Yeah, good to see him get a few sub appearances, instead of loaned strikers.

If we're going to play young lads in our squad, I'd prefer them to be our own rather than another club's. This is assuming they have the appropriate level of talent & drive to carve out a career in the game. Hopefully, we can aspire to produce our own young talent and provide them with the opportunity of first team football. I'd love the idea of us becoming the 21st Century equivalent of Burnley from the 1950's, '60's & '70's. Just because it hasn't been done, doesn't mean it can't be done, surely?
Probably just pie in the sky ramblings from a daft, old dinosaur again!:D

with young Bree coming through too maybe we should just concentrate on creating an entire team out of foodstuffs rather than winning association football games.

perhaps this has been the plan all along.

It's a good idea. Surprisingly The Reds have had very few food related players on their books throughout our history. I could only find David Currie, Nicky Wroe, and Frank Pepper ( strictly speaking only a condiment!). There was also Harry Topping and Barry Swallow as well as Danny Drinkwater.

Which part of Paul Dixon can you eat (apart from his ****, obviously)? Is it the Paul bit or the Dixon? I can't ever remember eating either. I wouldn't know what to do with a Paul or a Dixon. Would they go well on a sandwich?

Oh, and the translation of the Spanish word Corbo is sausages, the Italian word Colace translates to ham salad and the Portuguese phrase Vaz Te means egg, chips and beans.
