Thats SOME of the fans. I think he's proving to be a great signing. He's been great this season in a back four with really poor full backs (can't wait for Bobby to come back). I wish we had 3 Jimmy Mcnulty's - 1 to play in the centre of defence, 1 to play at LB and one to play in the defensve midfield role. People criticise him for holding onto the ball for too long - he is a proper footballing defender who tries to play the right way. When we had Butterfield showing for the ball for 90 minutes every week people were talking about Jimmy being better than Shackell. We now have a midfield which runs about a lot but has no quality - this has put pressure on Jimmy when he has had the ball. I'm with the players on this - Jimmy McNulty has personally had a great season.
