    If it's Sky's decision and they haven't agreed to show an alternative fixture, I wonder if we're going to make a claim for compensation for the lost TV revenue.

    I think sky are the more likely party to dictate kick off times. They have probably decided to show the Boro Derby game, just for pot stirring value.

    I am delighted , firstly the kick off time is a lot more amiable & secondly it will get the armchair critics off the players backs ,at least all the moaning & groaning about the result & performance should be from the long suffering faithful who will be there to witness the latest offering from the Super Reds , actually I hope we are celebrating 3 points & looking forward to an enjoyable saturday night for a change instead of drowning our sorrows .

    Our club have lost a lot of cash lately. Stoke not being on TV no more or an afternoon game which are better attended. Now losing a second lot of Sky money from live coverage.

    You have to wonder what Sky were thinking about in the first place. It was always a daft kick-off time. Any idiot could see that - even me.

    It’s a contractual thing. I can’t be arsed to explain it all, but when the Stoke game (Boxing Day) was postponed, it meant we were still due another TV game.

    So we’re still due one. I think Fulham personally. But I’m just guessing there.

    I think it was the right call, for fans especially.
