    Welcome Tom

Good to get another RB in, we’re short there. Let’s us play Williams at RCB with Edwards RWB

    Defence I’d definitely the problem…

in seriousness a good player from what I’ve seen but if funds are limited you wouldn’t have thought it a priority

Tommy Tight Lips keeping schtum on what position he plays.

It's not hard lads, it really, really, really isn't. Maybe some of you should have gone to school?

Right sided defender. Do they mean right of a back 2/3 or right back or all the above?

Isn’t he a versatile a right sided defender?

‘Making 51 appearances for the Potters across the top two tiers of English football, the right-sided defender joined Fleetwood Town on loan in 2020.’

We sign a player who’s actually played proper football before, at a level above where we are, but all we care about is the pure description of his position. Can you see why some people think we’re way too negative?

can he play upfront? If he can smashing. That’s the issue. Not Tom as a player he looks good from my limited viewing but we are now left with one senior striker in Cole ( discounting Norwood who is nowhere near fit )

Agree. But we also need this player as well. Doesn’t need to be one without the other, or one instead of the other, does it?

    Should have been both.

Just had a text from a Stoke supporting mate: See you have signed our old right back Tom Edwards on a season long loan. I always liked Tom. Good attacking full back. A local lad that the fans took to*****. He got a bit Billy big bo****s and lost his way a bit. Lots of rumours of partying and hanging out with the wrong crowd. Manager dropped him and then he went on loan to NY Red Bulls. Apparently, he has matured and got his head together. Been playing centre half over there. Always “one of our own”. Hope he has got his mojo back. If so, you will have a decent lad in the squad. [IMG]

Have we actually flogged Helik? If not we should play him upfront easily the best forward we have.

depends where you see the priority for the budget. Ive said it many time and I'm getting a bored with my own words but, it isn't who we sign i have a problem with. Its who we dont that seems to have been a regular issue last few years. We need A, B, C and we sign C, B, Z

Looks like our cunning plan was to restrict our recruitment policy to players with 2 first names. On that front it has been a very successful window.
