    Glad the club have finally addressed the need for another striker, goal record isn't great but then neither was Woodrow's or Morris's before joining us. Looks like a big lad as well which is something we were lacking.

    They don't mention very much on the statement at all. Very different to the statements from when we signed Cadden, Norwood, Connell etc.

    Not expecting his full autobiography but they don't even say he is a striker etc.

    I like this signing but I'm biased as I have a thing for tall Slavic strikers.

    Seriously, he's different to what we've currently got and I'm hoping he'll be able to be a target man, for holding the ball up and bringing others into play. We lack an out ball and this guy should be able to provide that and I'm sure - since he's come from City - he'll be technically proficient. In addition, it looks like he's played first team football for the last 4 seasons in Serbia and Holland which should give him good experience for league one. His goal scoring record doesn't concern me as I think he'll make the team better though I hope he can chip in with a few himself. We had Toney and Fletcher - on loan the last time we were in League One - who helped us get promoted and their experience and goal scoring record at the time wasn't great so it would be good to give the kid a chance to show us what he's capable of :)

    I get it. They’re not daft. They’re trying to downplay things, which is understandable given his recent stats.

    It's strange as the tweet that links the article says 'Serbian forward'. Maybe they were so excited they forgot to mention it in the article itself..
