RE: Do you give up a job at another club just to help out for a few weeks? Thats nonsense - he's clearly been brought in to help with the younger players along with Davey once a new manager is appointed. The new manager, whoever that will be, will be aware of it.
Work with the kids in League Two at a centre of excellence or work with the academy players at a proper academy in the Championship? Not exactly a tough decision, is it?

RE: Have you read the article on the Bury site? If you seriously want to believe that we've already appointed Simon Davey as our manager, then fine. I don't believe it for one second. They'll both be working at the academy within 3 weeks unless we win every game until then.
RE: Ryan Kidd has not been brought in to work with the academy He's not been brought in as permanent assistant manager either.
RE: I never suggested he had Never said you had - but 80% of people seem entirely convinced he is and are over-reacting thusly.

Thing is Kidd's appointment is obviously on Davey's say so. Who ever heard of a caretaker manager making coaching appointments? I mean, if we do bring in another manager he may not want Kidd. You must concede it's unusual.
RE: Thing is But the fact is that I can't think of a single person at the club at the moment other than Davey. People used to joke that Holden did everything - and hes gone, so surely its only an unusual situation because most clubs have enough coaching staff in the first place and we didn't?
RE: Do you give up a job at another club just to help out for a few weeks? i think your wrong he,s been brought in as assistant to davey,if they get the results he will get the job.remember what happened with ritchie!
RE: Do you give up a job at another club just to help out for a few weeks? I totally agree, Shep and Cryne have already penciled in Davey and Kidd as our next new managment duo. Only on a part time appointment mind yer, because BarnsleyFC love to have a change every few months you know!!
