Successful Opening Of The New Reds Superstore! - More from the official site... 15-06-2015 03:31 PM
Shame to see no change to opening hours despite the concentration of extra staff in one area. Also a shame to see that tickets can't be bought on Saturdays anymore unless it's a match day. And that's a lovely shot of the new club shop, I see they've taken a leaf from the catering book by opening with only a half stocked shop and an empty shelf.
No just realistic. I realistically hoped that the concentration of staff would mean longer opening hours. Bit disappointed that it doesn't but not the end of the world. I do think it is **** though that they've stopped selling tickets on Saturdays don't you? And think that opening the new club shop with empty shelves is a bit poor, again don't you?
I bought a couple of tops got them home I'm not keen not red round badge looked better how Nike use to do it
To be fair I'm sure that they have enough metrics to work out when it's economically viable to be open. Clearly they do not have enough footfall for Saturday afternoon to be viable
To be fair though considering they've never opened on a Saturday afternoon and the club has absolutely no passing trade at any time or day how can they possibly know without conducting a survey or having a trial?
To be fair id say a well orchestrated campaign saying open saturday 9-5 would generare more footflow than the few unemploted and retired folk wjo frequent it on a Thursday morning. Id say 80% of tye clubs employed supporters work during the mon to fri opening hours...
I think they will have produced a breakeven analysis based yhe footfall metrics that they will have collected when the store used to open on Saturdays
Yeah cos ten year old data is really worth the paper its printed on. Busiest day in the week for barnsley is a saturday. Morrisons busy. Asda busy. Alambra busy. Lidl busy. Town centre busy. Metrodome busy. Football club shut.
