    lad needs to bulk up for me

    he's what 5 ft 5 so he needs to be hitting weights a bit

    some proper mens footy might toughen him up

    I completely disagree with this. The obsession that people have with physical strength totally neglects that there is more than one attribute in football and that trying to force the same one on every single player not only means a lot of talented players never get a chance but is in my opinion a large reason that football is by and large pretty boring these days with a load of clone managers playing clone football

    I mean he will do, he's only 18.

    I like what I've seen of him, seems to have some genuine pace in CM - something which we've been missing for year's.

    Bit of a strange one this lad gets first team debut only last 45mins not to be seen again then sent out on loan .

    It's one month. Good decision. the lad has loads of potential so why not loan him out? Match practice. Tough league. Mens football etc. Wed be crazy not to give him this time. Great development move.

    Many get told they're too small (or at least they used to) when they were released from academies, but go on to have good careers. Leroy Lita was told he was released from Chelsea because of his size, and was scoring 29 championship goals just 3 years later.

    Not to be seen again? We've only played 2 games since then.

    Think this is a good move, absolutely no reason not to. Hopefully gets some game time. Any experience at his age is good experience

    That midget that Clarkie didn't like the look of - David Speedie - did alright for himself scoring a shedload of goals for Liverpool, Chelsea and getting Scottish caps as well. He was bombed out too soon, and we only got the £5,000 that Darlington paid us for him. No sell-ons in those days for us

    Benson not fit enough having played his first game in ages on the Tuesday before.

    Phillips suspended.

    Connell unavailable.
