    Transfer deadline day may appear to have been fairly quiet for the Reds, with Joe Dudgeon's loan extension from Hull City the only completed piece of business on Monday 1st September.

    However, the Reds have made 12 additions to their squad during the transfer window, not to mention three Academy graduates signing professional deals in George Maris, Nana Boakye-Yiadom and George Smith.

    There were also contract extensions for youngsters Christian Dibble, Rhys Oates, Darren McKnight and Brad Abbott, following 17 departures from Oakwell.

    Academy Scholars James Bree and Jack Cowgill also put pen to paper on professional contracts this year, the former a three-year deal back in February, the latter a two-year deal in August.

    Quick question thats probably been asked before, but regarding brown and the option of a second year, who's option is it the club or the player?
