    It was a disappointing day at the office for Barnsley U18s, who were beaten 3-0 by South Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United on a damp day at the Oakwell training ground.

    Does anyone know what the average age of our u23 and u18 teams are?

    Are we purposefully playing players way above their age category to try to fast track them? We seem to be getting a good few pastings at every level and while I don't think results are everything, young kids are going to get demoralised if they have no success at all.
