It was a case of too little, too late in a South Yorkshire of mixed emotions as Barnsley found themselves 6-0 down before half-time, thanks to a flurry of quickfire goals from Sheffield Wednesday. A competitive second half followed, in which the Reds attacked and saw a lot more of the ball but the damage had already been done.

Strange opening gambit for a report of a match we lost 6-0. Had we lost 4-2 and our goals came late on then yes, but the little we chalked up in this match was nothing, which is too little by six and so little it can't be measured.

 

Mixed emotions. There was the sadness of having conceded 6 but the absolute joy of having scored zero

 

Before lunch: My wife left me, the house got repossessed, and I got loved multiple times by a half-tonne brown bear.

After lunch: Wife didn't leave me again, house didn't get re-repossessed, and the bear only threatened to bum me again.

Mixed emotions.

 

I thought that.

Should have said it was a case of being dry loved in the first half and in the second the ******* from S6 basically took it easy. It was a case of we were a bit ****.
