    Cameron Thompson again, seems like he could be a good prospect. Good to see Simoes involved, hope he can get his head down and break back into the first team.

    Wow, that's some run the U23s are on! I don't ever remember a Barnsley "reserve" team winning that many in a row.

    No Bramall again - must be injured I presume which is a shame seeing as how he was scoring plenty. Him and Thompson might be a deadly partnership up front.

    I was reading up about academies the other day, strangely enough. Does anybody know whether we still have aspirations for getting into Category One? I appreciate it's an expensive endeavour, but it feels like we've actually been doing OK in terms of bringing players through from the youth teams in recent years.

    Can only be a good thing can't it! I know they say that development is more important than results at that level but having players with that winning mentality ready to step up is surely more beneficial.

    saw one of the under 23s was involved warming up goalkeeper at Wednesday, that is good if they involving them in 1st team matchdays
