VOTE FOR YOUR GOAL OF THE SEASON Club News There have been so many incredible goals scored by the Reds this campaign that it has been virtually impossible to whittle down the contenders for our annual Goal of the Season award. Continue reading on the official site...
10 candidates for goal of the season and they’ve had to leave some out… not sure we scored 10 goals all season last year!
The amount of worldies we've scored this year is incredible and is testament to Duff and his trust in the players - been a real joy to watch this season.
I knew all the way which one I was voting for, Josh Benson’s against Charlton. But then Liam Kitching’s against Wednesday popped up and it became a head v heart tussle! Kitching’s will be in the memory long after we’ve forgotten about all the others and it was a great goal, not least for his 70 yard run to get on the end of the pass, but the vote is for the best goal, not best moment of the season, so I’ve gone with Benson’s. If there was a vote for best moment of the season Kitching’s goal would win hands down.
Gone for Cadden. Brilliant goal in a tough competition. Despite that, Kitching's vs Wednesday is in my top 3 all time favourite Barnsley goals though. Along with Eaden vs Sheff U and Isgrove vs Millwall.
Went with Benson’s but I feel like most of them could win it and I’d not be surprised. Great selection.
My favorite int among those selected. Coles 2nd against Derby. Of those to pick from, Going for Caddens. I was in the North Stand and knew it was in as soon as it left his boowit.
all of them are worthy of goal of season, perhaps we could lend some out so pigs can have a vote for g o s. I went for luca but cannot argue with any
Kane for me , great technique on his weak foot , to be honest you could pick any of them , a cracking selection .
Been a great season and some amazing performances and goals. I can't pick one to be honest. Maybe the one v Peterborough shades it.
Got my vote, the technique, calmness and accuracy of Connell. Difficult choice though, I was tempted by Kitching’s goal but like Cole’s it was more of a team goal than spectacular finishes and that what I tend to go for.
