The Reds v West Ham will now take place on Friday 6th April at 5:15pm - scheduled live on the BBC. Read More from the official site... NOTE: The number of page impressions the club get on the official site also improves the ammount of money going into the club coffers. We all know we need every penny we get our hands on so if you'd got out of the habit of visiting the club site then could I suggest you visit it more frequently? The club are aware of the short comings of the site and plans are in place to rectify these.
'amount' only has one 'm'. hope this helps p.s. Anothe **** crowd cos if it's on terrestrial t.v........ defo low turn out. Hope the reds are getting a good fee from the Beeb.
Re: What a bag of ***** What a pile of steaming turd this is. Ruined what would have been a great crowd, wonderful atmosphere etc just for a few extra BBC pennies.
Re: What a bag of ***** The whole point of the CAT A prices was to fleece the knackers off Leeds/West Ham/Leicester fans etc when they come to Oakwell and then we shoot ourselves in the foot. We can tell them to **** off can't we?
Re: I don't care On the saturday at 3 pm West Ham would have at the very least filled the North Stand, if not half the West Stand as well. Now their fans won't fancy getting home around midnight for a match they can watch on the TV no bother. Not to mention the 30 quid catergory A price that even with a 1912 membership is too expensive. Be lucky if West Ham bring 2,500 now. We've just halfed their away following and ruined the chance of a rare good atmosphere for an home match. Hope it's worth it.
Re: I don't care How much you get per match must be online somewhere and it's going to be nowhere near the amount we lose. They took their biggest away following in eight years to Coventry a few months ago which was like 8,000. Imagine what they would have brought for 3pm on a easter saturday, so close to being back in the premiership. We are missing out on a lot of 30 quids here, but at least the east end pubs will do a roaring trade.
Re: I don't care Before the panic - it's Good Friday so majority of people off (both Barnsley fans and WHU fans for travel). There will be as many have to work Good Friday as have Saturday shifts. First time league game shown on BBC in the three year contract let's be thankful (about time we can show what we can do to an audience) Yes, we will get a fair bit of money (benefits club) Club will no doubt make it a B game (benefits fans) Extra day off to prepare for Blackpool (benefits team) 17:15 KO so extra business for pubs (benefits pubs) So basically if you unfortunately have to work on the Friday, you should be the only ones really bothered?
Re: I don't care Are people mad at the club for allowing this to happen? Because if you are I was under the impression that the club had no say in it. If the Beeb want it, they get it.
B@stards...... My last night friday night, Thought i only needed iswap this side of xmas. Thanks a fecking lot
