Gorre was a star.

Fantastic player, one of my favourites.

The only trouble was, he was plagued with injuries but he was a star in my opinion.

I am sure that there will be loads who disagree but he was class.

We haven't been told what we had for his tea latley. Reddy at Grimsby used to give us his update of his daily routine as well!!

He did have 1/2 a training session with us when all said and done!!

What a sorry state we were in then ,

Although Gorre probs looked class to the home only crew as he turned up one in every 3 games.

However he was never sighted when playing away from home. Bizarrely though the fans used to get on Betsy's back and leave

the worky shy waster that was Gorre to bask in unwarrented adulation.

What a complete and utter waste of money he was.

He had all the ability in the world......

but could never be bothered, he used to infuriate me. I'd rather have someone in the team with less ability and bags of enthusiasm.

    just to add....

ok, maybe dean gorre was the wrong person to highlight this... I was trying to point ou the fact that anyone who gets associated with BFC is automatically labled a star....

Maybe an idea if we could all highlight some, one mentioned above already...

but I still don't think gorre warrents this title either. (BUT DON'T DEBATE THIS ONE, THATS MY OPINION)

So name some "stars" who have been with the club for say, 1 day on trial!!!

thats it... exactly that. Everyone labled "stars"

    when they are not.

Dean Gorre was absolute class, he was however injured for a hell of a long time. I reckon if he hadn't been injured then the run under Gudjon would have continued and we would be out of this division of cloggers.

Good players do need to put in the effort but this division is packed full of players who run around like idiots. I would rather see Deano pulling the strings cruising around rather than the headless chickens that some fans seem to think make an impact on the game. We need quality players to be proactive and dicate the style and pace of the game not reactive players who play intothe oppositions hands by giving away the ball repeatedly.

    Gorre

I also thought he was excellent. We were certainly a much better side when he played. Just had a lot of injury problems.

Gorre played into opponents hands by not moving ,

or when he did , doing a ridiculous number of "spins n turns"
