The daily mail writing a sympathetic article about a black african?

    Wonders never cease.

Awful news and so preventable. There are some nations who should be truly ashamed of themselves.

    Sad news.

I was once chased by a White Rhino in Nepal. Years ago, I was on a walking safari in Chitwan. The "Health & Safety" briefing consisted of "If a Rhino comes for you, run in a zig-zag and climb a tree, if a bear comes for you, poke it on the nose with a stick, if a tiger goes for you, pray". Ho Ho very amusing I thought sarcastically.

Anyway after about an hour of wandering about and seeing nothing much the guide said "Rhino, Tree!". I turned around to see this great beast running towards me & I was the closest to it of the small group. No zig-zagging, straight up the nearest tree, and I was swinging from a branch as it thundered past underneath. Got the old heart pumping a bit.

Not sure if walking safaris are still going, but recommended for those who like a bit of danger.
