Nothing we didn't already know. Beautiful, graceful animal. Gone forever. White and Javan on the edge too. We have to do more for these amazing creatures. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...inos-follow-unless-conservationists-warn.html
Sad news. I was once chased by a White Rhino in Nepal. Years ago, I was on a walking safari in Chitwan. The "Health & Safety" briefing consisted of "If a Rhino comes for you, run in a zig-zag and climb a tree, if a bear comes for you, poke it on the nose with a stick, if a tiger goes for you, pray". Ho Ho very amusing I thought sarcastically. Anyway after about an hour of wandering about and seeing nothing much the guide said "Rhino, Tree!". I turned around to see this great beast running towards me & I was the closest to it of the small group. No zig-zagging, straight up the nearest tree, and I was swinging from a branch as it thundered past underneath. Got the old heart pumping a bit. Not sure if walking safaris are still going, but recommended for those who like a bit of danger.
Don't know about you but I wasn't aware that some rhinos and elephants are killed to fund terrorism http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/44...-to-save-elephants-from-Al-Shabaab-terrorists
