LEEDS UNITED have cut ticket prices ahead of their first season outside the top two divisions. The Elland Road club, who operated a two-tier pricing structure last term, have introduced a new Category C for the less attractive League One games when admission charges will start at £15 for adults. United will also offer more concessions for juniors next season with places available behind either goal. An additional Family Area for non members will also be opened in a section of the East Stand. Category B prices will start at £20 with the top pricing tier, which is likely to cover the derby fixtures with Doncaster and Huddersfield, starting at £25. The most expensive ticket will be £30 to sit in the East or West Stands for a Category A fixture. Last season, the cheapest ticket at Elland Road was £21 behind either goal for a Category B game with the price of sitting in either the West and East stands being £31. For Category A games, adult prices rose to £26 and £36. Peter Atherton is likely to be named Chris Wilder's assistant at Ha ifax Town if, as expected, Wayne Jacobs joins Bradford City. The former Bantams left back is understood to be Stuart McCall's first choice as his assistant at Valley Parade but, as yet, both clubs have refused to comment. <div class="ds-modifieddate">Last Updated: 26 June 2007 9:03 AM</div>
Local derbies will be Cat A At least that's the way I read it "Category B prices will start at £20 with the top pricing tier, which is likely to cover the derby fixtures with Doncaster and Huddersfield, starting at £25. The most expensive ticket will be £30 to sit in the East or West Stands for a Category A fixture" Cat B starts at £20 The top pricing tier (which includes the derbies) starts at £25 and goes up to £30. Not worded very well though. They should have started with a category C and gone down to E though!
Oh how the mighty have fallen .......... ......... "with the top pricing tier, which is likely to cover the derby fixtures with Doncaster and Huddersfield, starting at £25" "Wise, wise whatever have you done, you've taken Leeds to Division One, you won't win a cup, you won't win a shield ...... AND YOUR BIGGEST GAME WILL BE HUDDERSFIELD!!
Ken Bates wherever you may be....... What you've done to Leeds is legendry But if you had more sense, and weren't such a clown You'd take Elland Road and burn it down
