    his teams play exciting football that would be enough for me,they,ve dropped a big bollock by not pickin rednapp as manager still all you that think roys a better choice lets wait and see eh

    renapp`s teams have won a total of 1 FA Cup between them since he started managing. He would not be able to loan a striker fromj another Country , so he would not have a clue what to do with English strikers.
    On the other hand Hodgson has managed in various Countries, managed at International level, has got the know how to make a good job with limited resources ie. WBA, Fulham etc. So he should be Ok to work with the current set of overpaid and under talented players we have available for England! He is tactiacally adept and is not stuck with one formation and he can utilize his vast International contacts to get the low down on opponents.

    Yeah maybe you`re right ! `Arry would have been a better choice!!!

    The people who think Arry would be a good England manager are these who think football began in 1992. That 'Redknapp's teams play free flowing attacking football' statement, yes I think I could put together a team like that if I had Daniel Levy's bank balance behind me. Where are the trophies though? 1 FA Cup at Portsmouth, which they are still paying for. Now the England team on the hand... Money can't buy an international trophy.

    If Roy is not a success it does not prove one way or another that Rednapp would have been a better choice, as we would never know what would have happened if Rednapp had been given the job . :smile:

    VDV Lennon and Bale cost about 15 million and could be sold for 50 million in the summer.
    Modric cost 6? million and could be sold for 30? million.
