Well I guess a big spoon is needed for my big Gob.I have to give "The Welsh Chap" credit, we needed freshening and strengthening up and he's done so.
Obviously it remains to be seen how effective these guys are, But they seem to come with good references. I like the sound of the Fulham guy especially, and we all know Mifsud is capable of hitting the net. The Liverpool lad is an unknown to me , but he seems to be getting good press. Hope they drag us away from the ***** we are in .

Well done to "The Welsh Chap"

By the way?am I allowed custard with this Humble Pie?......its kinda sticking in mi Throat.

I'll continue to doubt him until he does something that cannot possibly be credited to someone else and that shows a definite benefit for Barnsley Football Club. My point being that he has signed good players before but it hasn't in the long run, done us any real good.

Dragon I'm not a Davey lover (or hater ) don't particularly want him out but wouldn't shed tears if he went, but I think a significant part of Hammills statement was, I could have gone back to Blackpool or to Sheffield United or Leeds, but after talking to my agent and Liverpool it was decided I should join Simon Davey at Barnsley when the opportunity arose. Now I know most of us on here have ( to a greater or lesser degree ), got reservations about his tactical nouse, but it looks to me that there may just be a bit of gravitas in his reputation as an up and coming young coach. Maybe this is where his future lies as history shows, good coaches don't always make good managers but it maybe just worth keeping with him for a while longer and keeping our fingers crossed we don't go down. With regard to Hammill, am I alone in being more excited about him than the others, we know what we're getting with Miffsud but this lad could turn into our '' Frazer Cambell''.
