ok........ if you were playing champ man.... what would you do?

Looking at the squad we have a quality midfield. Howard is a luxury player who we have been to reliant upon, and has struggled to cope with added responsibility in recent times. In my opinion we have had the best out of him and should cash in! The defence looks ok...... but we are seriously lacking any fire power up front........

infact we havent had a decent striker, since Shipperley or Dyer...... and I wasn't a big fan of Dyer! Even Sheron had more flair than these boys........

Hume and Macken look like they could do a job but they cannot do it alone. Mostto had a poor start last year and has little chance to prove himself since and KO is not raw, he's just big! big and chuffing clumbsy! he's a good player to bring on late in a game, but is never in my staring XI.

If I wer playin champ man, If I were playing champ man I'd cash in on Howard and look to bring in a big striker, a goalscoring striker and a left back. But main priority is a goalscorer. Hendrie, Hignett, Dyer, Ward and Shipperly all had that bit of flair that we seem to missing at the moment. I feel Hume and Macken could be those players but they need goals to boost their comfidence. I terms of players to bring I have the following short list.........

Striker - Anthony Stokes (sunderland) Loan
Striker - Sherryl McDonald (WBA) Loan
Fullback - Quinton Fortune (unattached) Free

any thoughts
