No chance...

Ian Wright said it all for me at the end. His little chuckle when Shearer said he definately won't resign.

You want a good national side ?

then break the bank and get Wenger... BUT it would have to be under HIS terms... it would involve a complete overhaul of football right from the youth system, through the premier league up to the national side. He can develop young foreign talent, why not ours ? Oh and he will need 5 years minimum to do this. It is not a quick fix.

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

Does Wenger know what an English player looks like? Not sure he's the solution. Good manager whose teams play football the right way, but his team shows what he thinks of English talent.

I thought Keegan was a shocking appointment,

but at least he had the dignity to resign.

Wenger? Pfff more chance of kissing Popes arse, hes got more sense than to tackle our load a **** ''England'' when he can coach some of the world class Players what's at Arsenal....Mourinho would be my choice, but that's as far fetched aswell....

    agreed but

I mean he would have to be involved in everything, he'd have to be able to change the premier league ... less games, minimum quota for English players, yes not his curent thinking, but as England manager.

    Anyway not happening

Complete overhaul I'd go with. Needs it anyway, regardless of who we approach. Academies aren't producing anything of note, players are putting clubs before country, clubs are 'resting' their players or finding increasingly more pathetic excuses not to release them, and the influx of cheap foreign players (not the star players mind - they should always be welcomed) is stifling English talent.

Won't happen whilever the FA continue doffing their cap to the Premier League.

    Disgrace.
