I thought Hayes did well today... he certainly wasn't the worse Barnsley player on the pitch.
Richards and Shuker were both anonymous and were rightly subbed. Hayes created good chances, esp the one for Richards, and his work rate was good.
I'll agree, we need a striker, but its to play with Hayes and take the chances he creates.

Hayes isn't the problem.. I don't know what people see. He created a sitter for Richards. An absolute sitter. He won us a penalty in the last minute that the ref completely bottled and gave a freekick for, and he had a goal disallowed. Jesus wept. Find someone to play with Hayes.
RE: Hayes isn't the problem.. exactly we need a "goalscorer" next to Hayes. We could have got David Graham on loan from Wednesday.
Sorry Lee, not aimed at you. I just cant believe the blindness. If Richards had got out the way for his sitter, Hayes would have scored. He won a 'penalty', scored one that was rightly/wrongly disallowed, won more headers than Richards and Wright combined...jesus wept.
i have a bit of advice for hayes bending your kneed then straightening them fast produces an upward motion-known as jumping-try it once in a while you might actually win a freaking challenge
RE: Gi'oer.... your right its not funny anymore how ritchie keeps playing a strike force that couldnt hit a cows arse with a banjo
RE: Gi'oer.... should play Nardiello/Hayes, very surprised that Nardiello didnt start todays game, i think if he was one on one with the keeper like richards was, he would have scored.
Hayes Won more headers than Richards and Wright put together. He flicked on at least 3 corners at the near post where NOBODY was following up. He scored a header for Gods sake.
RE: Gi'oer.... nardiello is hopeless he jogs around in a world of his own i cant see why the fans get exited when he comes on the idle sod
