OK so I'm daft enough to want to go to the Luton game...

Just phoned the Club to get tickets. I can't order them to be posted out as the last posting day is Wednesday, so collection only now (not feasible for me as I'm 150 miles away). Personally, I'm fairly comfortable that something sent today would get here by Saturday at the latest but its BFC's policy.

"Am I right in thinking that we can't pay on the day though?" Apparently, BFC have requested that this be allowed but are still waiting to hear back from Luton. I can't see the logic in Luton sticking rigidly to this rule so hopefully they'll have a change of mind on this, but its possible that they won't.

So as it stands at the moment, I can't go even though I want to! How bizarre!!!

Probably no-one who isn't working close enough to 'just pop in' or who I'd feel comfortable with asking to part with nearly £50 (for 2 tickets) on my behalf.

To be honest, I'm fairly confident that we'll ultimately be able to pay on the day, so I don't think the situation will stay like this. I just found it somewhat ironic, given the recent talk of boycotting games, staying away, etc to have found myself in this position (hopefully only for the time being!)

    C'est la vie!

To be honest I can see BFC's logic in the Wednesday cut-off, although I'd probably rather it was on the Thursday.

My original ticket for the Leicester game arrived on the Monday after the game, despite it being booked well in advance, even allowing for the delays in Christmas post. It arrived on 18th December with a 12th December postmark on the envelope, which I wouldn't have though possible at the time I booked it.

Fortunately the box office staff from both clubs were very helpful in sorting out a replacement for collection on the day.
