but we had some very near misses, their keeper made some remarkable saves... and we had good call for two penalties. So instead of siding with the opposition and feeling their loss.... maybe you could side with BFC and enjoy, maybe even praise a good and much needed win..... oh but then you are among the 'Pitch fork and burning torch' crew who will not rest until LJ is run out of town or burned at the stake... how sad you are.
do you dare to doubt one of the Barnsley Inquisition.... how dare you BLASPHEMER... the Mob will be upon you ... run ... RUN ..run far run wide ... they are mounting up as we speak
Re: do you dare to doubt one of the Barnsley Inquisition.... how dare you tbf when I read it I thought he meant it as credit to the defenders concerned
no mate he meant it as a detriment and to try and make a point that we fluked it... he is one of the 'BFC SITH' on this board.
Bit harsh that Dragon. Im not a regular on here but i really dont think there has been a lynch mob mentality tonight, i think we are all delighted and impressed with these 2 wins.
Tyrone was right (not sure about 5 being the correct number) Millwall did have quite a few cleared literally off the line. That as a headline sounds very negative but it isn't because they were cleared due to hard work from all the defence. They weren't shots that were randomly cleared, they were scrambles that were saved due to hard work and effort. I thought Tyrone's post emphasised that quite well too to be honest
Re: do you dare to doubt one of the Barnsley Inquisition.... how dare you Absolutely, but yet again people choose to misconstrue things
Re: do you dare to doubt one of the Barnsley Inquisition.... how dare you I've just re-read your post just to make sure and I think it's pretty clear that you're giving credit to the defence.
They had two off the line in the same incident in about the 85th minute. Hourihane cleared the first one & then White cleared the second. They then hit the bar in injury time & as it bounced back it was headed towards goal & I believe it was Mawson who cleared it off the line the 3rd time. Can't remember any others
