OLD (early 80s) Cable/TV help if anyone can remember

    Does anyone remember an early version of cable (i think) that was a box with a dial on top that you had to turn to change the channels and it clicked quite loudly as it snapped into place for each channel? I believe it wasa fairly small white box with a grey or blue dial on top.</p>

    If so does anyone have any information about it?</p>
