Came to mind this morning. Most of the oldies will know it, and the young ens might not have heard of some of the answers. But I was wondering if there’s any additional answers as I reckon the question is 40 + years old. Name players for home countries whose surname ends with the letter I. There was 2 that played for Wales. England, N I and Scotland had 1 each.
England - Peter Bonetti Wales - Eddie Niedzwiecki Scotland - Lou Macari N Ireland - Tony Capaldi Don't know the other Wales player
Terry Mancini? Edit: Realised he was the Republic of Ireland Further Edit: Dick Kryzwicki for Wales too?
On a similar note. one surname is so popular that its had double the players capped for England than the second most capped name. Can you tell me what they both are? For example there have been two Ferdinands, Les and Rio.
It is indeed. Theres been 20 of the buggers. The second is miles behind on 10 but still a few ahead of third (I think)
nay lad! Taff spelling is 'Gigsi' like me a boi(o) from the Valleys. (Plenty of words with double 'l' but no Taff words have a double 'g' in them!)
