Bit harsh to include the Chelsea game in that!

Last 6 league games would be better

    not at all

it was the start of their worst run ever this season-often happens when the underdog finally loses in the Cup-psychologically they haven't yet recovered-however their run in isn't that bad-let's hope they don't get over it too soon !!

    Hopefully

(if we dont go up automatically and if we make the playoffs etc etc), i wouldnt exactly mind playing a team who we beat 4-0 (3-0 up after 13 minutes) in the playoffs.

    true

they are definitely the worst of the 7 in contention-problem is they would finish 6th so to play them we need to finish 3rd which I don't think we'll do-my guess is 5th so we play 4th-Swansea or Hudds

    RE: true

the goal difference of the teams in the top 6 and teams below make an interesting read. I think the teams in the top 6 will stay the same, the only thing that will change is the order.

    tend to agree

obviously if we lose all our remaining matches we won't make it! but I think we have shown sufficient form not to collapse now

Would you be confident playing ANYONE in the play offs?

Think we would beat Swansea and Huddesfield over two legs, not sure about any others.

I think we'd be more likely to beat Colchester than either Hudders or Swansea. Plus Hudders have recent playoff experience. Its gonna be a nail biter.

RE: Would you be confident playing ANYONE in the play offs?

it usually depends on who is on a good run-Palace when they did it eg

our last 3 games are easily winnable and I'd be averagely confident if we did so

I dont think we've got the bottle

when it counts and its all at stake, I think we've got too many players that hide and not enough that stand up to be counted. we desperately need some experience and some guts in the middle of the park, and if we're still in League 1 next year, we'll spend all summer agonising over why we missed a golden opportunity. it'll be Ritchie's fault for not bringing it in when he had the chance. FACTOMUNDO.

    Totally agree S.M.

I think a quality midfielder who can put it about a bit would ensure success this season.

    slightly pessimistic I feel !!

any team getting to the playoffs is in with a chance-3rd team often bottles it 'cos they feel they "should have gone up"

    however............

beware the Warnock factor-he's brought in "quality" players late on and the wheels have fallen off

    Our player of the season

has gone and the runner up is injured. any manager, every bleeding manager would bring in a replacement at this stage in the season. those around us have strengthened and are looking for final push, whereas we are not wanting to rock the boat.

it'll cost us and it'll haunt us.

Warnock brought in a boat load, mostly forwards

We're talking about 1 player here. And as we let a central midfielder go it wouldn't really be an addition to the squad, more like a replacement.

And could anyone please explain to me why we renewed Kell's contract in January only to farm him out on loan, when we could have used that money to offer a contract to a player who was actually fit enough to play.
