Not just in the squad, I bet he will start. No Crouch, so who else are we gonna bang the ball forward to? (N)

Wonder what it was that impressed him with that display I watched the highlights this morning and I can't remember at any point thinking "Heskey had a good game." So I scanned the BBC's reasonably in-depth report of the game and the only mention of Heskey's name was ". . . with Emile Heskey booked for his protests . . ." Just shows how easy it is to miss stuff when you're not England manager.
All football managers are barmy Who else but a football manager would replace a forward with a midfield player when their team is 2-0 down! They're all loony tunes.
But you weren't at the game, so your opinion is worthless. ff Mc (clown) obviously saw a gigantic performance. (doh)
Not many options though Rooney Crouch both out and who else is there Andy Johnson, David Nugent, - we are somewhat short of international standard strikers. I'd rather start with Heskey than some of the other names bandied around
