Very rare, beyond paying my money, that I have the need/desire to contact the club.

My lad has been a season ticket holder for a couple of years and that has been tough, but thankfully the upturn in form recently has lit a fire under him.

He was lucky enough to catch Adam Davies glove at Wembley and he has been utterly engulfed as a result. I emailed the club the day after to see if there was any chance of getting Adam to sign the glove for him ... no reply.

I filled out the form for home mascot (promise of response in week) ... no reply.

It's one thing being a cynical fan who's seen it all ... but when I'm being asked every night if I've heard anything it's just getting a bit embarrassing.

    Momentum eh :(

Come on reds?? - What's the problem?

I don't know where you live but if you and the lad pop down il bet the players wouldn't mind giving him a few minutes and signing stuff.

Mansfield was still here when he caught the glove

Our customer service department has always been absolutely woeful with regards to online things. Had he called the club and spoke to somebody first hand they would have taken ownership and dealt with it but when it's online they don't seem to care. I don't know why that is

    Myself and Hubby went down
    Pre Wembley Play off Final.
    I had the photo/Book
    Wembley tickets
    DVD from Johnston's Paint Trophy.
    The lads signed everything.
Have to say Hammil was a dream.
But we both came away thinking what a lovely bunch of lads
Nothing to much trouble for them !
    They were buzzing.

I know it's potentially a bit of a pain but you could always approach Adam directly on twitter. All the players are accessible and I'd be amazed if you didn't get a response.

The players turn up T the club every morning any time between 9:30 and 10am I'm sure if you turn up around that time Adam will be more than happy to sign it. If you can there out training on the back fields until around 1pm. I wouldn't leave it with the box office staff etc,,, human error and all that, could go missing

    Good luck

I got Hammill's shirt in December and my mate messaged Barnsley Fc through Facebook to see if we could get it signed. They replied 2 days later and we arranged to go in one day to get it signed after they'd finished training. You might want to try contacting them through facebook.

I also applied for a mascot for my little lad on the day the fixtures got announced. I got an email on Friday apologising for the delay and that they are going to contact me sometime this week.

Just take it to the club. They leave stuff for signing on a table outside the dressing room. Then you can pick it up. The whole team will probably sign it if you ask*. Great souvenir. :D

    * Apart from the baby faced bog brush, Brownhill. He plays for sumbdy else now. Williams too.

Having criticised them publicly it's only fair that I praise them publicly too.

I have had an email from the club sorting out getting the glove signed and have heard back from them about the mascot too.

The chap that contacted me (Lee) was very quick to get in touch including an email at 22:54 at night - so I really can't fault that.

As I said to him, I feel a bit of a plod for whinging about it on the BBS now - but credit where it's due for sorting it. I even ended up subscribing to the Player to assuage the guilt at my mini-strop.
